From this year the Cherry Movie will come to commune in every weekend showing great Chinese films(with English subtile) in our Cinema Theatre at Club House.
On the 10th Feb we successfully had Dancing In The City screened, a great documentary by Director Fan Jian who came to the commune as well, the audiences met him after the screening and had delightful conversations with him about his films.
In the March we set the spotlight on Wong Kai Wai. Hong Kong¡¯s style master, Wong Kar Wai¡¯s films lure you in with their mysterious loosely structured stories, subtly glamourous characters, lush art direction and hypnotic music to enrapture like no other. If you don¡¯t know these films, this is your chance to discover a fabulous new world. If you have watched one or more before, now is the time to take another look, for Wong Kar Wai¡¯s films invariably reward the film fan with new meanings and inspirations with each viewing. |
